KEYNOTE SPEAKER
DR. JULI SLATTERY
Dr. Juli Slattery is an author and speaker as well as the president/co-founder of Authentic Intimacy. During the Reclaim 2.0 Online Summit, Dr. Slattery will speak on reclaiming how we think, how we live, and how we love.

Reclaiming How We Think: Jesus changes everything, including how we think about sexuality. Most Christians are not aware of the sexual narratives that underlie their thinking. Juli will challenge us to reclaim the biblical narrative of sexuality.

Reclaiming How We Live: How does a Christ-follower faithfully live out marriage or singleness? How do we battle sexual temptation? In this session, Juli will discuss the Christian journey toward sexual integrity.

Reclaiming How We Love: Following Christ is not just about our theology but also must involve loving others well. Juli will challenge us to become Christians rooted both in the truth of God and the love of Jesus as we interact with family, coworkers, and the world around us.

Rethinking Sexuality: A Purity, Cultural, and
Biblical Perspective
We all have a narrative around sexuality—what we think it means for us and for others to be sexual beings in the world. But in forming our narrative, are we viewing our sexuality through a purity, cultural, or biblical lens? In this mini-series, Dr. Juli Slattery takes a closer look at all three narratives and how they hold up to Scripture.

EVAN BARBER - AXIS
At Axis, we translate pop culture to help parents and caring adults understand and disciple their teenagers. We call this process “culture translation,” and it involves understanding the culture someone lives in as well as the language they speak.

Jesus told parables about the Kingdom of God in a way that the people around him could understand. To make eternal points, he talked to them about the world they knew: shepherds, sheep, planting, harvesting, yeast, and leaven. In the same way, culture translation is about meeting our teens in their world, on their turf. It’s about following Jesus’ example, who took on our flesh, our norms, and entered into our society in order to redeem us. It’s about learning the language of pop culture, entertainment, and social media so that we can communicate with the next generation in ways that are meaningful to them.

ABOUT AUTHENTIC INTIMACY
Authentic Intimacy is a unique teaching ministry devoted to teaching on God's design for intimacy and sexuality. Our vision is represented by two words that are rarely put together:

SEXUAL DISCIPLESHIP™.

Practically everyone, young and old, single and married, has experienced pain, shame, and confusion related to sexuality. We want men and women to understand God's purpose and redemption related to their sexuality. As a ministry, we disciple by consistently applying God's Truth to all questions, pain, and joys related to sexuality and intimacy.

We believe that God intentionally created us as sexual beings, that every sexual choice is a spiritual choice, that sexuality is a powerful metaphor, and that Satan intentionally works to destroy the holy expression of sexuality.
